Note here I'm referring to basic home computers not corporate or national networks / infrastructure which is a much more tasty target these days for hackers etc.Īs I keep saying a lot of the virus and malware paranoia for basic home systems is so last (20) century - it's SCAMS, IDENTITY THEFT, FRAUD and other "Get Rich Quick" schemes that you need to protect yourself against these days. Probably should dump both and use adwcleaner or mbam free full scan with root kits added for better detection.Don't bother with those - in any case who ever gets rootkit infection on basic Home computers these days doing perfectly "Normal" activities.
